Desert Hawks Radio Control Club Complex
The Desert Hawks RC Complex is located in SARA Park, which is at the southern end of Lake Havasu City, AZ. and can be accessed through the south entrance to SARA Park on Dub Campbell Parkway between mile markers 175 and 176 or through the north entrance at McCulloch Blvd and Highway 95. Either entrance will take you to the Sterling Field Home of the Desert Hawks RC Club.

750′ x 60′ Runway with 75 feet of run off on each end
Our facility includes a 750′ x 60′ runway with 75 feet of runoff on each end, a separate Helicopter Field with a concrete helipad and a shade structure, a Dirt Oval RC Track, and an RC Short Course Track.
Amenities include his and hers restrooms, covered spectator/meeting area, a covered staging area for pilots. In addition, there are bleachers for visitors and events, safety fences to protect spectators and pilot stations to protect pilots while they are flying.
There are also starting stands for smaller planes and starting stations for larger planes. We have ample parking for cars, trucks, trailers and a designated RV Parking Area (dry camping).
Visitors are welcome any time the gates are open.
Club members have access 24/7 however the facility is without electricity. Our club mostly functions dusk to dawn.
AMA or MAAC members with ID are welcome to fly as long as they are accompanied by a club member. Please see Club Rules for details.
